It's treated with TPU water repellent, which means its water drops will slip quickly off the fabric. It has a water-resistant rating of 3000, so it's more resistant to moderate and heavy water splashes. The instep strap has been upgraded with thick TPU to make it more resistant to cold and unbreakable. The uniquely designed lace hook prevents loosening when the foot is bent and has a wide opening.
